Här har ni intervjun med Les Seuls spelaren MissHyper, som vann Pride-Tournament!
Would you care to introduce yourself to the readers?
Sure! My name is Line Marie, a.k.a MissHyper, a Norwegian girl!! But at the moment I live in Gothenburg with my boyfriend! I’ve played in Les Seules for almost 3 years now. Havn’t been too active lately though.. you know.. WoW.. yuck.. But atleast im back now! :D
Congratulations to the victory in Pride-Tournament, how does it feel?
Well.. since it was the first match I’ve played after my comeback from WoW, it felt really great to win. So much fun, i realized how much I have really missed the game!
How did it feel at first? Were you nervous about how far you would go?
hehe, i told the girls before we started, if we lose, just blame me! Cuz i was pushing mouse4 for autorun, pushing mouse2 for looking around... but they were really supportive and we all just laughed about it. I wasn’t really nervous, i just enjoyed the fun. Didn’t think about how far we would go, just took one match at the time! :D
What can be expected from Les Seules this year?
Well it’s hard for me to say, since i haven’t really played with them the last months, but from what i have seen they have improved and seem strong atm. So hopefully we are going back to ESWC. Apart from that we will see what the time brings ;) Ofc it will be a lot of bootcamps and lans.
And how do you think ESWC will go?
Well.. last year we went to ESWC without any expectations at all and we ended up 2nd.. so if we really push each other this time and pracc so our fingers are bleeding maybe we can reach our goal and win ! :D that would just be perfect! but right now it’s hard to say!
What are the good and the bad things with e-sport today? anything you'd like to change?
The good things have to be that it’s taken more serious from companies and none-gamers. If u say ure a pro-gamer, people don’t assume ure a super duper big nerd and don’t have a life anymore ;P Bad things.. its really hard to keep a stabile lineup, ppl quitting the game, changing teams and get kicked.
But the worst with the esport today is that such a huge % of the players are cheating both in praccs and official matches! makes me sick.
Would you like to see some changes in female e-sport? And if so, what kind of changes?
Yeh.. I would like to never get this question again.. don’t want to separate female and "male" gaming! :D I know female gamers aren’t as good as the males.. and bla bla bla.. But I think.. With the right support, the right clans, the right chances, some girls have the chance to be among the top, either in a mix gender team or in a pure female team! :D
Would you care to tell us a little bit about your clan-members?
AurorA: our team leader, and my roommate for over 1 year. She’s really good at the game and have control over the team both in game and offline ;P
Cazzidy: my Norwegian fellow, a girl that’s more dedicated to cs is hard to find. She has great aim and great understanding of the game.
Sophie: Our super duper spray queen, nothing can survive if they are coming around a corner and Sophie is sitting there. She has played cs since forever and is just sooo cute ;P
Nat0: She’s the little retard in the Clan. A raising star.. If she has the day she can be unbeatable.
Queen: has played for me and Nat0 while we have been inactive the last months, she’s a great player, but i haven’t really had the chance to see her that much in game.
Which is your biggest roll in game?
My roll? Well.. I’m the awp player.. And I’m there to keep up the team spirit.. Never a game without a joke from me.. or 2.. or 10.. ;P
Which is you best in-game memory?
Oh lord.. I have so many great memories! But last ESWC, we played the first match against SK-ladies and lost like sh**, but we had the chance to meet them again in the quarter finals, and we did an awesome job at nuke and won the match.. it was the most exciting match.. And I was so freaking nervous! :D
individual I have a great round from cbble, it was a 1on5 and me with glock and the rest with colts... ohlala.. couldn’t sit on my ass for the next 5 rounds... my heartbeat was up in 300, I’m sure! :D
